Trichoderma
A highly effective, 100% organic biological fungicide that protects crops from a wide range of destructive soil-borne and seed-borne diseases. By colonizing the plant’s root system, these beneficial fungi act as a natural antagonist to harmful pathogens while simultaneously promoting robust root development and nutrient uptake.
Defend your roots and boost natural immunity with powerful beneficial fungi.
Khicha Phoschem Ltd. introduces Trichoderma as a vital, dual-action solution in our Crop Protection and Bio-Fertilizers range. In progressive farming, maintaining a healthy root zone is the foundation of a profitable yield. Trichoderma is a naturally occurring, highly beneficial fungus that aggressively hunts and feeds on harmful pathogenic fungi in the soil (such as Fusarium, Pythium, and Rhizoctonia). Beyond disease control, we also utilize Trichoderma in the composting process of our premium Organic Manure because of its exceptional ability to decompose vegetative residues and release bound nutrients, making it a cornerstone for vital, living soil.
Integrating Trichoderma into your soil management creates a disease-free environment where crops can achieve their full growth potential.
Effectively controls soil-borne and seed-borne fungal diseases.
Improves early seed germination and seedling vigor.
Forms a protective, long-lasting shield around the active root zone.
Aids in the rapid breakdown of organic matter and crop residues.
Secretes natural organic acids that help solubilize soil nutrients.
Increases the plant’s natural resistance to environmental stress.
Reduces the need for expensive, toxic chemical fungicides.
Trichoderma can be applied directly to seeds, roots, or the soil to establish a healthy fungal colony from day one. For optimal disease protection and root colonization, Trichoderma can be applied using these highly effective methods:
Seed Treatment
Mix 5 to 10 grams (or ml) of Trichoderma per kilogram of seeds using a small amount of water or jaggery solution to make it sticky. Coat the seeds evenly and dry them in the shade for 30 minutes before sowing. This ensures the seed is protected the moment it enters the soil.

Seedling Root Dip
Mix 10 to 15 grams (or ml) of Trichoderma per liter of water. Dip the roots of your seedlings into this biological solution for 15 to 20 minutes right before transplanting them into the main field.

Soil Application
Mix 1 to 2 kg (or Litres) of Trichoderma with 50 to 100 kg of well-rotted farmyard manure, organic manure, or vermicompost. Leave the mixture in the shade for a few days to let the fungi multiply, then broadcast it evenly over one acre of land during final plowing or near the root zones of standing crops.
