Trichoderma is a naturally occurring, highly beneficial fungus that aggressively hunts and feeds on harmful pathogenic fungi in the soil (such as Fusarium, Pythium, and Rhizoctonia). Method and Quantity of Use

Trichoderma can be applied directly to seeds, roots, or the soil to establish a healthy fungal colony from day one. For optimal disease protection and root colonization, Trichoderma can be applied using these highly effective methods:

Seed Treatment

Mix 5 to 10 grams (or ml) of Trichoderma per kilogram of seeds using a small amount of water or jaggery solution to make it sticky. Coat the seeds evenly and dry them in the shade for 30 minutes before sowing. This ensures the seed is protected the moment it enters the soil.

Mix 10 to 15 grams (or ml) of Trichoderma per liter of water. Dip the roots of your seedlings into this biological solution for 15 to 20 minutes right before transplanting them into the main field.

How does Trichoderma kill harmful diseases?
Trichoderma works through "mycoparasitism." It essentially hunts down harmful, disease-causing fungi in the soil, coils around them, and secretes natural enzymes that dissolve the harmful fungi, effectively destroying the threat to your crops.
Can I mix Trichoderma with my chemical fungicides?
No. Because Trichoderma is a living, beneficial fungus, applying chemical fungicides at the same time will kill it. If you must use chemical treatments, leave a gap of at least 10 to 14 days before or after applying Trichoderma.
Is it beneficial for the soil even if I don't have a disease problem?
Yes! Trichoderma is an excellent organic decomposer. It breaks down dead plant material and organic matter in the soil, converting it into readily available nutrients for your next crop, which improves overall soil health.
