What is the difference between Pre-Starter, Starter, and Finisher feeds?
These represent different nutritional phases. Pre-Starter has the highest protein and easiest digestibility for baby chicks. Starter balances protein and energy for rapid growing phases, while Finisher lowers the protein and increases the energy (fat/carbs) to bulk up the bird right before harvest.
Can I feed broiler feed to my egg-laying hens (layers)?
A: No. Broiler feed is highly concentrated in protein and fat for rapid meat growth. Layer feed is specifically formulated with much higher calcium levels to support daily eggshell production. Feeding broiler feed to layers will result in unhealthy, overweight birds and poor egg quality.
Is the feed safe from mycotoxins and fungus?
A: Yes, our manufacturing process includes strict moisture control, quality grain selection, and the addition of toxin-binders to ensure the feed remains safe, fresh, and free from harmful aflatoxins.
