Fish Feed FAQs

Why should I use this instead of Urea?
Unlike standard urea, ammonium sulphate resists leaching so there is no loss of nitrogen. The ammoniacal nitrogen dissolves slowly, feeding the plant over a longer period, and the added sulfur helps the plant utilize that nitrogen more effectively.
What does FCR mean in fish farming?
FCR stands for Feed Conversion Ratio. It measures how much feed is required to grow one kilogram of fish. A lower FCR means the feed is highly efficient and easily digestible, saving you money on total feed costs.
Does this feed cause water pollution or algae blooms?
No. Our feeds are manufactured with high water stability, meaning they don't dissolve immediately into powder. Additionally, the highly digestible ingredients mean less solid waste is excreted by the fish, keeping ammonia levels low and your pond water clean.
Can I feed the fish immediately after heavy rain or on cloudy days?
It is generally recommended to reduce or pause feeding during heavy rain or heavily overcast days, as the dissolved oxygen levels in the pond typically drop. Feeding during low oxygen periods can stress the fish and lead to poor digestion.
