Azoto (Azotobacter)
A powerful, free-living nitrogen-fixing biological fertilizer. Formulated with ecology-safe biotechnology, it actively captures atmospheric nitrogen and secretes vital growth-promoting hormones to ensure robust root development and high yields in all non-leguminous crops.
The natural nitrogen powerhouse for cereals, vegetables, and cash crops.
Khicha Phoschem Ltd. introduces Amber brand Azoto, an essential part of our organic green revolution portfolio. While leguminous crops rely on Rhizobium, the vast majority of crops (like wheat, paddy, and sugarcane) require a different biological approach. Azotobacter is a highly effective, free-living soil bacterium. It does not need to infect the plant roots to survive; instead, it thrives in the root zone (rhizosphere), continuously fixing atmospheric nitrogen and making it available to the plant. Furthermore, Azoto acts as a powerful bio-stimulant, naturally secreting growth-promoting hormones that protect against soil pathogens and dramatically increase overall crop vigour.
Applying this advanced biological fertilizer provides immediate nutritional and physiological advantages

Azoto is highly versatile and can be applied as a seed treatment, seedling dip, or direct soil application.
Seed Treatment
Mix 200 to 250 grams of Azoto powder with a cooled jaggery (gur) solution. Thoroughly coat 10 to 12 kg of seeds, ensuring an even layer. Dry the seeds in the shade for 30 minutes before sowing.
