PROM FAQs

Discover why farmers are making the switch from chemical fertilizers to our Phosphate Rich Organic Manure.

How does PROM compare to DAP or SSP?
Unlike DAP/SSP which offer quick but short-term release and pollute the soil, PROM provides slow, sustained P₂O₅ release, significantly improves soil health, and is 30-40% cheaper.
What are the exact FCO Specifications of your PROM?
It contains a minimum of 28% Total Phosphate (28-32%), a minimum of 12% Organic Carbon, maximum 25% moisture, and maintains a pH of 6.5-7.5. Minimum 90% passes through a 4mm IS sieve.
Is this product certified for organic farming?
Yes, it is strictly manufactured according to the FCO 1985 (as amended) guidelines and is fully certified for use in organic farming.
Why choose Khicha Phoschem's PROM?
Our competitive advantage lies in our vertical integration. Because we mine and process our own Rock Phosphate—the primary raw material for PROM—we guarantee superior quality while remaining highly cost-effective for the farmer.
